CHILEMOY Rim Dip Chamoy is an 8oz handcrafted Mexican chamoy paste designed to rim glasses, dip fruit, and add sweet-spicy-sour flavor to cocktails, micheladas, seltzers, and snacks.
Made following Mexican pantry traditions, this chamoy rim paste blends pickled-fruit tang, chili heat, and a touch of sweetness for a balanced rim dressing. It’s formulated to cling to glass edges for drinks or act as a dip for fresh fruit, offering a concentrated burst of authentic flavor without artificial shortcuts. The watermelon variety brings a fruity brightness that pairs especially well with lighter beverages and summer menus.
How does CHILEMOY Chamoy Rim Dip improve my cocktails and micheladas?
The rim paste transforms ordinary drinks into memorable sips by delivering layered sweet, sour, and spicy notes right at the first taste. Because it adheres cleanly to the glass, every sip begins with the chamoy accent without diluting the drink itself.
- Creates a consistent rim flavor on margaritas, mules, and micheladas.
- Concentrated paste means less mess than loose rimmers like powder.
- Watermelon profile pairs with tequila, mezcal, lager, and seltzers.
- Easy to apply—spread, dip, or press fruit against the paste.
How should I use the rim dip for fruit, cocktails, and seltzers?
Application is flexible—use a thin layer on the glass rim, dip fruit slices directly, or mix a spoonful into dressings and marinades for a chile-fruit lift. For drinks, chill glasses first and then rim to help the paste set and stay put during service.
- Rim method: wipe glass edge, spread a thin ring of chamoy, let set briefly.
- Fruit dipping: slice mango, pineapple, or jicama and press into the paste.
- Drink infusion: add a small spoonful to seltzer or cocktail for subtle sweetness.
- Cooking use: blend into glazes or sauces for grilled proteins or snacks.
What flavor profile and ingredients should I expect from the watermelon chamoy?
The watermelon chamoy balances bright fruitiness with savory chile notes and tangy acidity from pickled fruit elements. It’s designed to be both lively and versatile—fruit-forward on light drinks and bold enough to stand up to beer or mezcal.
- Dominant watermelon fruit character with underlying chili heat.
- Tang from pickled fruit components provides a clean acidic finish.
- Slight sweetness to round the heat and enhance fruity cocktails.
- Handcrafted texture that spreads easily but clings to rims.
How do I store and how long will the rim dip stay fresh?
Store refrigerated after opening to preserve the bright fruit notes and keep the chamoy paste stable. Proper refrigeration and a sealed lid help maintain texture and flavor for the best results over time.
- Refrigerate after opening to extend freshness.
- Use a clean utensil to avoid contamination.
- Seal tightly to prevent drying on the surface.
- Check the label for a best-by date and any storage guidance.
