Our Contre-Jour Red Blend is layered with ripe dark fruit flavors, earth and spice. This three-varietal blend features southern France's heavy hitters. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre team up to create a complex wine offering ripe berry, mulling spice and earthy characteristics with rich color and polished tannins. This wine is perfect for those looking to sample their first "GSM" or anyone who already knows and loves this French classic. These blends are the focus of southern France's Minervois region, where hot summers are perfect for these warmth-loving red grapes. This small AOC is between the banks of the Aude River and the foothills of the Montagne Noire Mountains, making it a picturesque setting for both winegrowing and travel.
