Craft Cartel Passionfruit, Cayenne & Basil is a 16oz cocktail syrup that layers tropical fruit, fresh herb, and chili heat to transform drinks into adventurous, bar-quality cocktails or sophisticated mocktails.
This 16-ounce mixer from CRAFT CARTEL MIXERS combines ripe passionfruit sweetness, bright basil aroma, and a warming cayenne kick in a ready-to-use syrup. Crafted for home mixologists and hosts who want to add personality to margaritas, rum drinks, vodka cocktails, or non-alcoholic sparkling beverages, it removes guesswork while preserving complex flavor. The syrup's concentrated formula stretches across multiple cocktails, making it a practical choice for gatherings or creative at-home bartending.
How will this syrup change my cocktails?
One bottle introduces a layered flavor profile—sweet tropical notes, a savory herbal midtone, and subtle back-of-throat spice—that would otherwise require multiple fresh ingredients and careful balancing. It simplifies recipe building while elevating simple spirits into multi-dimensional drinks.
- Add to tequila for a fruity, spicy margarita variation.
- Shake with rum for a tropical herb-forward daiquiri twist.
- Mix with vodka and citrus for a bright, drinkable cocktail.
- Stir into soda water for a complex non-alcoholic refresher.
What are practical serving suggestions and ratios?
Because the syrup is concentrated, start modestly and adjust to taste—this preserves balance between spirit, acidity, and sweetness. It works in both spirit-forward recipes and lighter spritz-style drinks.
- Classic cocktail: 1.0 oz syrup, 2.0 oz spirit, 0.75 oz lime; shake and strain.
- Spritz/mocktail: 0.5–0.75 oz syrup, 3–4 oz sparkling water, citrus wedge.
- Batch for parties: 6 oz syrup per 750 ml bottle of tequila, plus lime and a splash of orange liqueur if desired.
Is this syrup suitable for non-alcoholic drinks and dietary needs?
Yes—its concentrated fruit, herb, and spice composition makes it a flavorful base for alcohol-free creations. Use it to craft sophisticated mocktails that avoid one-note sweetness while keeping a bartop quality experience.
- Combine with tonic or sparkling water for layered flavor without alcohol.
- Pair with fresh citrus or cucumber for lower-sugar, fresher mocktails.
- Check the label for specific dietary or allergen information if you have restrictions.
Who is this for? This syrup is aimed at adventurous home bartenders, creative hosts, and gift-seekers who want a distinctive mixer that does heavy lifting. If you enjoy experimenting with cocktails, hosting small gatherings, or assembling curated barware gifts, Craft Cartel Passionfruit, Cayenne & Basil offers a simple way to introduce bold, memorable flavors without complex prep.
