Crafted in the world-renowned hills of Montalcino in Southern Tuscany, Italy, Pinino Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is a classic, highly polished expression of 100% Sangiovese Grosso. Situated on the prime northern and southern slopes of Montalcino, the estate's vines benefit from ideal elevation, well-draining galestro and clay soils, and optimal diurnal temperature swings. Winemaking follows rigorous Tuscan tradition: hand-selected grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel and oak vats, followed by a minimum of two years of aging in large Slavonian oak casks (botti) and French oak oak barrels, along with extended bottle maturation prior to release. The result is a wine that balances dark red fruit depth, earthy complexity, and noble tannic structure.
Food Pairing: Florentine T-bone steak (Bistecca alla Fiorentina), braised wild boar ragù, roasted leg of lamb, osso buco, truffled risotto, and aged Pecorino Toscano cheese.
